i hate glass blocks. they're the epitome of bad 80s decorating to me. chicago is practically built with them. they make sense here--they allow in light, but not the roving eyes of nosy neighbors. but man are they ugly!

The only place I think they are suitable is bathrooms. Otherwise just get curtains!
